	Divinities opened the 2nd Tuesday after the Dawn of Time, and Joe Everyman has been there since the beginning. Serving as bartender, cook, waiter, bouncer, and manager, Joe never seems to leave. No one's quite sure what Joe is either. He looks human, he acts human, but he's been a round a lot longer than humans. When asked, he responds with a mysterious smile, and pours the questioner a drink.
	Gargle is a monster. The Universe is full of them. Most just hang out, terrorize a village, city, country, or planet, eat a few victims and call it a day. Gargle, when he's not in Divinities, hangs out mostly on Earth, where he works as a temp in bed, closet, and basement monstering. But Gargle dreams of the day he gets his break into working in Nightmares.
	Nebria is the youngest, and least well known of the Muses. However her lack of notoriety suits her just fine, because she feels it would make her job more difficult if she was well known. Unlike her sisters, who are the sources of inspiration for the arts and sciences, Nebria has a unique specialization. Nebria provides inspiration to the intoxicated. Those ideas that seem really good while you're drunk, but don't turn out so well when acted upon? That's Nebria's work.
	For thousands of years Tremiel was a Guardian Angel. He specialized in protecting Warriors, Knights, Soldiers, and in more recent years; firefighters, bomb squads, oil well cappers, and stunt people. This has left him a little . . . nervous. Tremiel now holds the distinction of being the only retired Angel. These days he can be found in Divinities, drinking to calm his nerves. Unfortunately for him, due to an incident involving alcohol, the Horn of Armageddon, and the Golden Throne of Heaven which resulted in the emergency creation of the first proctologist, Angels can't get drunk.
